I found this on a clean up site and it has so much history so it’s obviously been used by a mechanic in the past Times like these because we’re moving so fast and we can buy things from aldi or discount stores for a ridiculously cheap price to me this is a relic what I want to do with it is clean it and actually resin it as it is.
I think it’s beautiful and an abstract all on its own, such great composition everything fits in very well it’s been looked after for so long I just want to set in stone.
I decided with this work to create a small narrative around the person that may have owned it.I saw them as a father who was working to raise children,he had his set routines . This storyline developed as I was creating, sorting through the found objects.
